From the very beginning, MWF Technik has placed great importance on high-quality machine equipment.
DMG MORI has supplied MWF Technik with more than 15 cutting machine tools for turning and milling.
Since its founding in 2005, MWF Technik GmbH & Co. KG has quickly established itself as a reliable and skilled partner in plastics and metal technology. Today, around 50 specialists develop and manufacture complex components and assemblies for the chemical industry, laboratory and medical technology, as well as mechanical engineering. Contract manufacturing in the metal sector and a proprietary product range round out the company’s portfolio. From the very beginning, DMG MORI has been supplying the required, precision-fit milling machines and turning centers, along with the appropriate automation solutions.
Both as a service provider in development and manufacturing and with its own specialized products, MWF Technik has been experiencing strong and successful business growth. “We have long surpassed our original goal of hiring one new employee each year,” says Christian Müller, who manages the company together with Klaus Peter Wagner. Wagner explains the reason: “We have always grown together with our customers.” This is why, after a few years, the company built a larger new facility, which was expanded again in 2017 to a total of 2,000 square meters. Plenty of space for the 20 production machines now in operation.
In early 2024, the company invested in an additional 5,000 m2 of land and a 1,000 m2 warehouse and assembly hall.
Christian Müller was already familiar with the machine manufacturer DMG MORI before founding MWF Technik: “The wide product portfolio, the reliability of the machines, and their precision were decisive reasons for us to cooperate with DMG MORI.” The precision of the components is sometimes within just a few microns, and the complex geometries require versatile 5-axis machining centers or lathes with milling capabilities. MWF Technik’s machine fleet resembles a DMG MORI showroom: in the milling department, a versatile DMU 50, two DMU 60 eVo, a DMU 75, and a DMU 95 monoBLOCK stand out. In turning, the highly stable models of the NLX series are predominantly in use.
Purchasing new machine tools requires significant investment. This makes having a trustworthy and flexible financing partner all the more important for Christian Müller: “With DMG MORI Finance, we have found such a partner.” The subsidiary of the technology leader supported MWF Technik throughout the procurement process for each machine solution. Klaus Peter Wagner adds: “The fact that DMG MORI and DMG MORI Finance provide both the machine and the financing from a single source was, and still is, very important to us.”
The modern, high-performance manufacturing technology from DMG MORI enables MWF Technik to meet the high demands of its customers and to maintain and further strengthen its strong competitive position.
