MWF Manhole – walk-in inspection openings
for thermoplastic tank and plant construction
Universally applicable and maintenance-friendly:
The thermoformed cover is made from a single material (e.g., transparent PVC). Its ergonomic shape makes handling easier, and the handle gives the cover very high stability. The stainless steel clamping ring allows easy and quick opening and closing of the inspection opening. Once closed, the cover, seal, and flange form a secure and tight unit.
In the field of manholes, we have been offering a unique range of innovative solutions since 2020. In the initial concept and development phase, we analyzed existing market solutions and engaged extensively with users and experts from chemical plant engineering, water management, and environmental technology. Our goal was to offer a new generation of manholes that provide greater flexibility, ergonomics, and certified quality, offering more possibilities in both application and handling.
Innovative product design with high functionality
Our specialists from development and 3D design, plastics technology, and metal technology worked hand in hand. The result is a completely redesigned production area at MWF Technik. This includes meticulously designed tools for producing the innovative cover design using the thermoforming process. For the multi-stage production of the flange, we developed our own machines. The shape and material concepts for the seal and clamping ring also come from our own development, completing our intelligent overall solution.
Quality from MWF Technik
For the production of MWF manholes, we developed the entire manufacturing process ourselves and refined it to series production readiness. Our components and the complete solution are certified and come with factory and material certificates.
Six materials are available for the cover and flange:
PP, flame-retardant PP, PE, natural PE, PVC (cover optionally in transparent PVC)
and electrically conductive PE-el. Other materials available on request.
